Alumasc Skyline’s bespoke designs were the deciding factor when specifying soffits, fascia and coping for the eaves, balconies and terraces of three luxury new homes in Jersey. The homes are set in a sensitive landscape close to one of Jersey’s historic Martello Towers, so the development had to meet strict standards before it could go ahead. Skyline’s unique manufacturing capabilities for delivering tailored solutions made it an obvious choice for this prestigious project.

The three homes are all slightly different so each one had to have a specific solution designed. Ivan Colvil, Skyline’s Technical Sales Manager, made several trips to Jersey to visit each property. He then designed bespoke soffits and fascia for the balconies, cladding on both sides of the canopies, and new cladding for the garages too.

Robbie Gray, Project Manager with contractor Turnkey Solutions, says it was the first time he had worked with Alumasc Skyline, recommended by builders’ merchant Precision Plastics. Robbie comments: “The project proved to be a simple exercise. The products we needed were manufactured and delivered in good time and the support and service we received convinced us we had made the right choice. It was our first project with Alumasc Skyline, but we have completed several more since.”

Ivan Colvil adds: “This was an unusual project. The houses were not allowed to project into the skyline or impact the historic site close by. We were able to supply a bespoke design, which I believe was the deciding factor in winning this contract. We’re now looking forward to more collaborative work with Turnkey Solutions.”

Alumasc Skyline is part of Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS), the first joined up brand in the industry to provide an overall water management solution, from rain to drain. AWMS also includes Alumasc Rainwater, Harmer Building Drainage and Gatic Civil Drainage.
